Ice Cream & Dessert

My uncle used to say its the most important meal of the day.  Unfortunately, he had a heart attack at age 33.  If he were around he would eat at the following places.

Rayas
Calle Almirante Apodaca, s/n (Iglesia Santa Cantalina)
Tel. 954 221 746
Calle Reyes Católicos (across Calle Zaragoza from Cafe de Indias)
Tel. 954 220 636

Bar none, the best ice cream in Sevilla.  You can usually find this place crowded inside and out with people eager to gorge themselves. The service is fast and you never have to wait very long.  Definitely check this place out.

Mamá Goye
Plaza del Salvador
Tel. 954 114 522

Situated close to both Plaza Nueva and Plaza Alfalfa this new ice-cream shop is the best in Sevilla by a landslide.   Rayas is good, but this is WAY better.  If you find yourself within a five block radius of Plaza Salvador, a detour for this tasty treat is worth the walk and so much more!

Restaurante El Giraldillo
Plaza Virgen de los Reyes, 2
Barrio de Santa Cruz
Tel. 954 214 525
giraldillo@barriosantacruz.com

This place serves up the the best chocolate cake on earth.  It looks so innocent, like a simple
muffin, but it is filled with chocolate brewed by swiss madmen.  It is worth its weight in gold
but does not cost nearly that much.

Häagen Dazs
Puerta de Jerez, 2
954-217-114

This place is pricey, but how can you say no to all the creamy goodness?  Häagen Dazs is damn good in any country.

Ben and Jerrys
Calle Imagen, 4
Tel. 954 502 525

Right in the Campana, this place is hard to walk by and not get something.  I mean, we are talking about Mr. Ben and Mr. Jerry.  You just cannot go wrong with those two crazy hippies.
