• What is DiscoverSevilla?
DiscoverSevilla is an organization designed towards guiding travelers safely through their experience abroad. Whether organizing expeditions, answering general questions, or showing you fun spots around Sevilla, our goal is to ensure that your time in Spain goes smoothly and enjoyably. No request is too unusual for us to spend time helping out with; if you’re a student studying abroad and your friends are in town looking for a good day of sightseeing planned, bring them in- we’re happy to help!
• Why would I travel with DiscoverSevilla instead of going by myself?
DiscoverSevilla takes travelers to select locations within certain destinations that are only made possible by a unique knowledge of the local area. Traveling by yourself is fantastic but often involves a certain amount of stress planning and physically traveling. Booking through DiscoverSevilla, we take the stress out of your journey by handling everything from buses, car rentals, hotel stays, beach taxis, and much more. Any special requests? No problem! DiscoverSevilla is helpful for anyone traveling. From young to old and everything in between, DiscoverSevilla is perfect for helping you plan your next amazing experience- whether it be in Sevilla or anywhere else in Europe, we would love to help out!
• What does DiscoverSevilla specialize in?
DiscoverSevilla specializes in weekend student get-a-ways in which we travel with you to a select destination, showing off the best parts your destination has to offer. Generally, you travel with a group of students like yourself from different programs; a great opportunity to meet some new people! For a list of the locations we have currently planned trips to, please check out our Excursions section. If the location you wish to visit is not listed, suggest it to us!
• Does DiscoverSevilla have an office? What time is it open until?
We have a sweet office located right by the Catedral, in the middle of the historic part of Sevilla. For the most direct route, click your school’s name on our youtube page and watch the walking video from your door to ours. We are open from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM, with no siesta break. You are welcome to stop in, call us, or contact us via email.
• What else does DiscoverSevilla do?
DiscoverSevilla does organizes private package trips anywhere in Europe. Tell us when and where you would like to go and we will always find the safest, most affordable way for you to get there.
• I want to go around Europe, can I use DiscoverSevilla's travel services?
Of course! DiscoverSevilla guides have planned trips everywhere in Europe. What makes us so effective is that we’ve been there! Come in for a quick chat and we’d love to tell you all about it!
• If I do not live or study in Sevilla, can I still go on DiscoverSevilla trips?
YES. Travelers from all over Spain travel via DiscoverSevilla.
• My parents are coming to visit me here in Spain, can DiscoverSevilla help me out arrange some travel tips?
Of course! There are several weekly happenings around Sevilla that your parents might enjoy. A night at the Flamenco with dinner and drinks is something they might enjoy, or maybe a private tour of some of Sevilla’s oldest landmarks, including all major tourist attractions.
• I'd like to do an internship with a company in Sevilla, can DiscoverSevilla help me out with that?
DiscoverSevilla has an internship abroad program in which eager, interested travelers looking to spend a 3-month period in Spain can take advantage of a rare opportunity to gain insight into the business world of a foreign company. Click on the “Internship” tab above for more information.
• Is it secure to book online?
Yes. We utilize custom-designed, professional software to ensure the privacy of your purchase. If you do not feel comfortable booking online, you are welcome to book in-person in our office or over the phone.
• Will my card be charged immediately if I choose to book online?
Not instantly. We will charge your card after we have determined availability of space left on our trip. The charge will generally be made quickly and securely within a few hours of your decision to book online.
• Can you help me find lodging/apartments in Sevilla?
Yes! Sometimes a hotel is not your best option. Whether you are staying for two days or two years, sometimes having your own pad is the only way to go. This can be accomplished without too much trouble.
